Staten Island, N.Y. (2/11/23) The Dominican University New York men's and women's track and field teams traveled to the Fastrack National Invitational held yesterday at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex.

WOMEN'S RESULTS

  • Junior Stacy Eliezer (New City, N.Y.) took 32nd place in the shot put with a throw of 9.68m (31' 9.25").
  • Jayda Jones (Lake Ronkonkoma, N.Y.) finished in 69th place in the 200m dash with a time of 28.89.  Julia Dunne (Babylon, N.Y.) took 77th place with a time of 29.41 and Krystal Parris (Toronto, Canada) finished in 95 place with a time of 29.41

MEN'S RESULTS

  • Junior Kenney Lauredent (Pomona, N.Y.) had the high finish of 10th place in the triple jump with a jump of 13.46m (44' 2")
  • Lauredent also took 15th place in the long jump with a jump of 6.09m (19' 11.75").
  • The shot put event saw sophomore Adam Lenn (Thiells, N.Y.) have the high finish of 25th place with a throw of 13.55m (44' 5.5").  Lawrence Ribeiro (Cortlandt Manor, N.Y.) finished in 54th place with a throw of 9.39m (30' 9.75") and Vincent Faison (Chester, N.Y.) took 58th place with a throw of 7.05m (23' 1.75").
  • In the 200m dash Brian Thompson (North Bergen, N.J.) took 31st place with a time of 22.86.  Olatunji Adewole (North Plainfield, N.J.) finished in 52rd place with a time of 23.66, while Aidan Mallon (Bohemia, N.Y.) took 87th place with a time of 25.51.  Dariel Suarez (North Bergen, N.J.) ran a time of 25.58 to finish in 88th place.
  • Olatunji finished in 55th place in the 400m dash with a time of 53.13.  Samuel Fileen (Monroe, N.Y.) took 81st place with a time of 56.25, while Steven Smith (Yonkers, N.Y.) finished in 87th place with a time of 56.85.
