VOLLEYBALL ENDS LOSING STREAK WITH VICTORY OVER CONCORDIA COLLEGE
Bronxville, N.Y. (10/18/13) The Dominican College women's volleyball team ended their four-match losing streak this evening after defeating Concordia Collee, 3-0, in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) action at the Meyer Athletic Center.

Freshman outside hitter McKenzie John (Lafayette, La.) led all attackers with 15 kills and completed the double-double with 10 defensive digs. She finished the night with a .407 attack percentage.
Tori Dexter (Selah, Wash.) added 12 kills, while Kera Dexter (Selah, Wash.) had a night high 23 assists and 10 digs. Amanda Hallstein (Holtsville, N.Y.) contributed 14 digs, while Kayla Rosasrio (Hicksville, N.Y.) had eight digs.
As a team, the Lady Chargers had a season high .372 attack percentage.
Set one was tied at 23-all when John put DC at set point with a kill and a Clipper ball handling error gave the Lady Chargers the 25-23 win.
Dominican never trailed in set two as they quickly took a 10-4 lead and closed out the set with back-to-back kills from John for the 25-13 victory.
The final set began like the second as Dominican jumped out to a 17-7 advantage and never looked back in the 25-14 win and 3-0 match victory.
With the victory, Dominican improves to 5-17 overall and 5-7 in the CACC.
