VOLLEYBALL DROPS MATCH TO CHESTNUT HILL COLLEGE
Philadelphia, Pa. (11/2/13) The Dominican College volleyball team dropped a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) match to host, Chestnut Hill College, 3-1, this afternoon in a match played at Sorgenti Arena. With the loss, the Lady Chargers fall to 6-21 overall and 6-11 in conference play.

The Griffins took the first set by the score of 25-19, but DC rallied to win the second set, 25-19. A Tori Dexter (Selah, Wash.) kill gave the Lady Chargers a 10-4 lead in the set and a kill from freshman McKenzie John (Lafayette, La.) ended the set for DC.
CHC rallied to win the next two sets by scores of 25-22 and 25-23 for the 3-1 match win.
John led all attackers with 21 kills and added 10 defensive digs.
Dexter finished with 18 kills and a team leading 19 digs in the loss, while setter Amanda Hallstein (Holtsville, N.Y.) had 19 assists and 13 digs.
Fellow setter Kera Dexter (Selah, Wash.) also had 19 assists.
DC returns to the court on Monday evening as they travel to non-conference opponent, Mercy Colege.
