Orangeburg, N.Y. (10/4/14)  The Dominican College women's volleyball team swept the visiting Lightning of Goldey-Beacom College, 3-0 (25-19, 25-23, 25-23), this afternoon in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) match played on Coach Baxter Court at the Hennessy Center.

With the win, Dominican improves to 9-1 overall and 6-1 in conference play.

McKenzie John (Lafayette, La.) led all attackers with 15 kills and completed the double-double with 10 defensive digs.

Senior Kayla Dexter* (Selah, Wash.) added 12 kills (.321 attack percentage), two block assists and five digs.

Amanda Hallstein* (Holtsville, N.Y.) recorded a team leading 19 assists and three block assists to go along with six digs.  Teammate Kera Dexter (Selah, Wash.) had 14 assists, seven digs and two block assists.

Cortney Yeoman (Glenn Dale, Md.) had a team leading five block assists.

DC will take on Caldwell College on October, 8th in Caldwell, N.J.
