LADY CHARGERS EARN WIN OVER FELICIAN UNIVERSITY
Rutherford, N.J. (9/27/16) The Dominican College women's volleyball team earned a 3-0 (25-23, 25-20, 25-19) win over host, Felician University, in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) North Division clash played in Job Gymnasium.

Senior Cortney Yeoman (Glenn Dale, Md.) led all attackers with 14 kills, a .423 attack percentage and three service aces.
Outside hitter Alexa Williams (Los Angeles, Calif.) tallied eight kills and 14 digs, while Deanna Knopf (Hauppauge, N.Y.) recorded seven kills.
Libero Angela Kim (Marlton, N.J.) had a night best 15 digs, while setter Kera Dexter* (Selah, Wash.) had a match high 33 assists.
The first set was tied at 22-all when Yeoman recordeda kill and a Golden Falcon attack error put the team at set point, 24-22. A Felician kill made the score 24-23, but Yeoman ended the set with another kill for the 25-23 win.
DC led 17-8 in the second set but the Golden Falcons rallied with a 7-2 run to pull within four points (19-15). A service ace from Yeoman would put the Lady Chargers at set point, 24-17, but it would later take a kill from freshman Gabrielle Napoleon (Springfield, Pa.) to give Dominican the 25-20 set victory.
The Lady Chargers never trailed in the final set and used back-to-back kills from Knopf for the 25-19 set win and 3-0 match victory.
Dominican will travel to CACC North Division opponent, Post University, this coming Thursday night.
