The Cougars won the match in three sets by scores of 25-11, 25-22, 25-17.
Dominican trailed 20-14 in the second frame when a kill from senior Kera Dexter* (Selah, Wash.) started a 7-1 DC run to knot the set at 21-21. Later tied at 22-all, Caldwell closed out the set with three straight points.
Senior Cortney Yeoman* (Glenn Dale, Md.) led Dominican with nine kills, three block assists and a .200 attack percentage.
Alexa Williams (Los Angeles, Calif.) added six kills and eight digs, while Deanna Knopf (Hauppauge, N.Y.) had four kills.
Libero Angela Kim (Marlton, N.J.) had a season high 19 digs, while Dexter finished with 20 assists.
The Lady Chargers (4-12, 3-4 CACC) will host Georgian Court University this coming Saturday at the Hennessy Center. Match time is salted for 12pm.
