Orangeburg, N.Y. (9/14/17) The Dominican College women's volleyball team were swept, 3-0, this evening in a non-conference against the College of Saint Rose played on Coach Baxter Court in the Hennessy Center.

Saint Rose won the match by scores of 25-16, 25-20, 25-14 to improve to 6-4 on the season while the Lady Chargers drop to 0-8 overall.

Sophomore outside hitter Deanna Knopf (Hauppauge, N.Y.) led Dominican with seven kills and added six digs.

Gabrielle Napoleon (Springfield, Pa.) contributed four kills and a team best .200 attack percentage.

Libero Natalia Perez (Prosper, Texas) had a team high 11 digs, while junior Giovanna Del Sordo (Springfield, N.J.) added six digs.

Freshman Essence Boyd (Peekskill, N.Y.) recorded a team leading 11 assists in the loss.

DC will host non-conference foe, East Stroudsburg University, this coming Saturday at 3pm in the Hennessy Center.
