Waterbury, Conn. (11/8/17) The Post University Eagles swept a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) match from the visiting Lady Chargers of Dominican College, 3-0 (25-7, 25-12, 25-9) this evening in the North Division match played in the Drubner Center.
Waterbury, Conn. (11/8/17) The Post University Eagles swept a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) match from the visiting Lady Chargers of Dominican College, 3-0 (25-7, 25-12, 25-9) this evening in the North Division match played in the Drubner Center.
With the win, Post improves to 16-12 overall and 14-4 in conference standings to stay in second place in the North Division, while the Lady Chargers fall to 1-28 overall and 0-18 in the CACC.
Sophomore Gabrielle Napoleon (Springfield, Pa.) led Dominican with six kills in the match.
Essence Boyd (Peekskill, N.Y.) had a team best nine assists, while Emely Rosado (Anchorage, Alaska) contributed six defensive digs.
For the Eagles, Sarah Seger recorded a team best 10 kills and a .500 attack percentage. Brianna Root had 29 assists, two service aces and eight digs, while Sarah Ryder sported a match best 11 digs.
Dominican will conclude the 2017 season this coming Saturday afternoon as they host Bloomfield College in a CACC contest, scheduled for 12pm on Coach Baxter Court in the Hennessy Center.
