Wilmington, Del. (10/12/19)  The Dominican College women's volleyball team dropped a 3-0 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) match to host, Goldey-Beacom College, this afternoon in a match played in the Jones Center.

The Lightning won the match in three straight sets by the scores of 25-16, 25-12, 25-9 to improve to 5-11 overall and 2-6 in CACC play.

Dominican (0-14, 0-8 CACC) had a .278 attack percentage in the first set and produced nine kills.

Deanna Knopf (Hauppauge, N.Y.) and Emmalyn LaPier (Endicott, N.Y.) led DC with five kills each.

Seniors Malia Robinson (Jersey City, N.J.) and Mykalee Chambers (Bronx, N.Y.) added three kills a piece in the loss.

Jasmine Ramirez-Alfaro (Greenburgh, N.Y.) had a team high seven digs.

Setter Essence Boyd (Peekskill N.Y.) had a team best seven assists.

DC returns to action on Wednesday night when they host the Warriors of Nyack College in a CACC North Division Match.
