WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY OPEN SEASON WITH FOURTH PLACE FINISH AT SUNY PURCHASE INVITATIONAL

Purchase, N.Y. (9/9/17) The Dominican College women's cross country team opened the 2017 season with a fourth place finish at the SUNY Purchase Invitational held this morning. The Lady Chargers finished with a team score of 117 in the 6k race.

Purchase, N.Y. (9/9/17) The Dominican College women's cross country team opened the 2017 season with a fourth place finish at the SUNY Purchase Invitational held this morning. The Lady Chargers finished with a team score of 117 in the 6k race.

Sophomore Kaitlynn Connor (Warwick, N.Y.) was the top finisher for the Lady Chargers as she ran the course in a time of 25:32.7 to finish in eighth place overall.

Andrea Nardone (Stony Point, N.Y.) took 12th place with a time of 25:57.1.

Junior Jennifer Heller (Butler, N.J.) finished with a time of 27:51.0 to take 25th place, while Chelsea Crawford (Montgomery, N.Y.) took 27th place with a time of 27:59.1.

Christina Burgos (Staten Island, N.Y.) ran a time of 30:06.1 to finish in 52nd place overall, while Micaela Rispoli (Cliffside Park, N.J.) finished in 74th place overall with a time of 32:55.6 and Djazmina Jean-Pierre (Spring Valley, N.Y.) took 76th place with a time of 33:18.6.

Dominican will travel to Queensborough XC Invitational on September 17th.
