LADY CHARGERS TAKE FOURTH AT LIU POST CROSS COUNTRY INVITATIONAL

Brookville, N.Y. (9/23/18) The Dominican College women's cross country team took fourth place at the LIU Post Cross Country Invitational held yesterday.

Brookville, N.Y. (9/23/18) The Dominican College women's cross country team took fourth place at the LIU Post Cross Country Invitational held yesterday.

The team compiled a score of 88 to finish in fourth place overall.

Sophomore Andrea Nardone (Stony Point, N.Y.) was the top finisher for the Lady Chargers as she took seventh place overall with a time of 14:44.9 (6:46.8 per mile) in the 3500m race.

Kaitlynn Connor (Warwick, N.Y.) ran the race in a time of 15:15.0 (7:00.7 per mile) to finish in ninth place.

Senior Jennifer Heller (Butler, N.J.) took 22nd place with a time of 17:15.0 (7:55.8 per mile), while rookie Anne McCormack (Pearl River, N.Y.) finished in 24th place with a time of 17:37.5 (8:06.2 per mile).

Marissa Murphy (Bethpage, N.Y.) finished in 26th place with a time of 17:46.4 (8:10.3 per mile) and Desiree Joseph-Jarvis (Livingston, N.J.) ran a time of 19:24.3 (8:55.3 per mile) to take 32nd place overall.

Dominican will travel to the Mount Saint Mary's Knight Invite next Saturday.
