LADY CHARGERS FINISH 10TH AT CACC CHAMPIONSHIPS
Philadelphia, Pa. (10/28/18) The Dominican College women's cross country team finished in 10th place at the 2018 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Championships held today at Belmont Plateau and hosted by Jefferson.
Philadelphia, Pa. (10/28/18) The Dominican College women's cross country team finished in 10th place at the 2018 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Championships held today at Belmont Plateau and hosted by Jefferson.
Dominican finished with a team score of 240 to finish in 10th place. Jefferson won their fifth straight team title, followed by Wilmington, Chestnut Hill, Felician and the University of the Sciences to round out the top five teams.
Sophomore Andrea Nardone (Stony Point, N.Y.) was the top finisher for the Lady Chargers as she took 20th place with a time of 21:29.0 (6:54.8 average) in the 5k race.
Kaitlynn Connor (Warwick, N.Y.) finished in 44th place with a time of 23:38.9 (7:36.7 average), while senior Jennifer Heller (Butler, N.J.) ran a time of 23:43.0 (7:37.6 average) to take 45th place.
Freshman Marissa Murphy (Bethpage, N.Y.) took 64th place with a time of 25:34.9 (8:14.0 average) and Ann McCormack (Pearl River, N.Y.) had a time of 26:05.1 (8:23.7 average) to finish in 67th place.
Desiree Joseph-Jarvis (Livingston, N.J.) finished the course in a time of 28:07.8 (9:03.2 average) to take 74th place overall.
