LADY CHARGERS FINISH SEVENTH AT YORK XC INVITATIONAL

Bronx, N.Y. (9/23/19) The Dominican College women's cross country team took part in the York XC Invitational held yesterday at Van Cortlandt Park.
The Lady Chargers finished in seventh place overall with a team score of 206.
Sophomore Desiree Joseph-Jarvis (Livingston, N.J.) finished in 28th place overall with a time of 32:27.80 in the 6k race.
Cheneda Jemedy (Brockton, Mass.) ran a time of 33:37.60 to finish in 38th place overall, while Ann McCormack (Pearl River, N.Y.) finished in 40th place with a time of 33:48.20.
Senior Djazmina Jean-Pierre (Spring Valley, N.Y.) finished in 59th place with a time of 39:10.90 and Angelina Abate (Old Tappan, N.J.) had a time of 42:16.90 to finish in 77th place.
Dominican is scheduled to compete at the 17th Annual Ted Owens Invitational next Saturday.
