LADY CHARGERS TAKE PART IN 17TH ANNUAL TED OWEN INVITATIONAL
New Britain, Conn. (9/28/19) The Dominican College women's cross country team took part in the 17th Annual Ted Owen Invitational held today at Stanley Quarter Park and hosted by Central Connecticut State University.
New Britain, Conn. (9/28/19) The Dominican College women's cross country team took part in the 17th Annual Ted Owen Invitational held today at Stanley Quarter Park and hosted by Central Connecticut State University.
Dominican was one of six NCAA Division II schools to compete in the race.
Sophomore Ann McCormack (Pearl River, N.Y.) was the top finisher for the Lady Chargers as she finished in 102nd place overall in the 5k race with a time of 24:16.4.
Desiree Joseph-Jarvis (Livingston, N.J.) finished the course in a time of 25:16.3 to take 111th place, while Cheneda Jemedy (Brockton, Mass.) took 117th place with a time of 29:18.7 and Angelina Abate (Old Tappan, N.J.) finished in 123th place with a time of 32:39.0.
Sophomore Jada Hammond (Nyack, N.Y.) took 125th place in her first race of the season with a time of 37:20.3.
Dominican will travel to the NJIT Highlander Challenge next Saturday to be held at Branch Brook Park in Newark, N.J.
