DOMINICAN #2 NORTH SEED AS FIELD IS SET FOR 2019 CACC BASEBALL CHAMPIONSHIP
New Haven, Conn. (5/1/19) -- The field is set for the 2019 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Baseball Championship, as the tournament gets underway this Saturday with four first-round, single-elimination games at the sites of the highest seeds. Saturday's four winners will advance to the 2019 double-elimination tournament, which will be held from May 9-11, at Municipal Stadium in Waterbury, Conn., and hosted by Post University.

Felician University (South Division) and Post University(North Division) are the No. 1 seed in their respective divisions, with the Golden Falcons being the overall No. 1 seed for the tournament as they swept Post in a regular-season doubleheader. The winner of the 2019 CACC Baseball Championship will earn the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Division II East Region Tournament, which will be held in mid-May at a site to be determined.
