CHARGERS PLACE SEVENTH AT CACC CHAMPIONSHIPS
Haworth, N.J. (10/8/19) The Dominican College men's golf team took seventh place at the 2019 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Championships held yesterday and today at White Beeches Golf and Country Club and hosted by Dominican College.

Wilmington University won the team title with a two-day total of 600 (308, 292), while WU player, Enrique Valverde, took home the individual title.
The Chargers shot a 324 on the first day and followed with a 319 this afternoon to finish with a total score of 643 (+31) on the par 72 course.
Senior Carlos Armas Stenner (Durango, Mexico) was the top finisher for the Chargers as he tied for 18th place with a two-day total of 158 (79, 79).
Juan David Fajardo (Bogota, Columbia) and Daniel Acosta Murguia (Torreon, Mexico) both tied for 24th place with a total score of 160. Fajardo shot rounds of 81 and 79, while Murguia shot an 80 both days.
Senior Arthur Albero (Staten Island, N.Y.) shot an 84 in the first round and followed with an 81 in round two for a 165 total score to tie for 32nd place.
Sean Riordan (Ramsey, N.J.) finished in 42nd place after shooting an 89 in both rounds for a 178 total score.
Dominican is back in action next Monday and Tuesday when they travel to the Post Eagles Invitational at the Watertown Golf Course.
