DOMINICAN TO HOST QUARTERFINAL ROUNDS OF MEN'S AND WOMEN'S CACC BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS

Orangeburg, N.Y. (3/4/19) The Dominican College men's and women's basketball teams will each host a quarterfinal game of the 2018-2019 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Basketball Championships to be played tomorrow night (March 5th) on Coach Baxter Court in the Hennessy Center.

Orangeburg, N.Y. (3/4/19) The Dominican College men's and women's basketball teams will each host a quarterfinal game of the 2018-2019 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Basketball Championships to be played tomorrow night (March 5th) on Coach Baxter Court in the Hennessy Center.

The men's team, the second seed in the CACC North Division, will host the Tigers of Holy Family University, the third seed in the South Division in the opening game of the night. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30pm. Previously, DC edged Holy Family University 92-87 in overtime.

The winner of that game will advance to the CACC Championship Semifinals and will take on the winner of #1S Jefferson/#4N Felician on Saturday, March 9th. The semifinals and finals will be hosted by Caldwell University.

The women's team, the top seed in the North Division, will take on #4S Goldey-Beacom College. Game time is scheduled for 7:30 pm or 30 minutes following the conclusion of the men's game. Earlier this season, DC upended the Lightning 100-97 in overtime.
