DOMINICAN'S RODWELL NAMED TO 2018-2019 ALL-MET FIRST TEAM
Orangeburg, N.Y. (4/22/19) Dominican College men's basketball player, Daraja "DJ" Rodwell (Baldwin, N.Y.) has been named to the 2018-2019 All-Met Division II Men's Basketball First Team as was announced by the Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association today.

The junior guard from Baldwin, N.Y., is one of four players from the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) to earn All-Met accolades.
Rodwell enjoyed a stellar junior season and was named to the All-CACC Second Team. He led the team and ranked 11th in the conference in scoring, was second in the CACC in three-point field goals, third in three-point field goal percentage, 14th in steals and 15th in free throw percentage. He earned one CACC Player of the Week honors and was named to the CACC Weekly Honor Roll three times. Rodwell was also named to the Met Basketball Writers Association Weekly Honor Roll twice this season and scored his 1000th career point on February 5, 2019 against Caldwell University.
The All-Met players and coach will be honored Tuesday, April 30, at the 86th NIT/MBWA Haggerty Awards dinner at the Westchester Marriott, Tarrytown, NY.

All-Met Division II Coach of the Year: Charles Marquardt, Molloy.
