CHARGERS SLIP IN REGIONAL AND NATIONAL POLLS

Orangeburg, N.Y. (12/10/19) The Dominican College men's basketball team has slipped in the D2SIDA Polls and the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) National Poll as was announced by both organizations this week.

Orangeburg, N.Y. (12/10/19) The Dominican College men's basketball team has slipped in the D2SIDA East Region Media Poll and the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) National Poll as was announced by both organizations this week.

Dominican went 1-1 in action last week, suffering a tough 88-86 loss to Felician University and downing Bloomfield College, 96-55 to now stand at 8-1 on the season.

The team's offense currently averages 88.9 points per game, while opponents are averaging 70.9 points per game. DC has five players that average double digits in points per contest.

In the NABC NCAA Division II Men's Basketball Rankings, the Chargers slipped four spots and are now ranked 25th. DC remains one of now four teams from the East Region in the rankings. Daemen College moved up three spots into eighth place, while Pace University makes their first apperance at 23. St. Thomas Aquinas College returns to the rankings at 24 and Dominican rounds out the poll at 25.

This week's D2SIDA East Region Media Poll saw Dominican fall two spots into fourth place. They are one of two teams from the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) in the rankings as Jefferson is ranked fifth.
