WILCOX SCORES 29 AS MEN'S BASKETBALL EARNS THIRD STRAIGHT WIN

After the win, DC improves to 15-5 (8-3 CACC) and Felician falls to 6-13 (4-7 CACC) on the season.
Tedrick Wilcox (Pawtucket, R.I.) led all scorers with 29 points to help lead DC in the win. Jason Copman (Cumberland, Md) pulled down 21 boards to lead the Chargers and also added six points.
Tavon Ginyard (Brentwood, N.Y.) provided 19 points including five made three-pointers. Daraja Rodwell (Baldwin, N.Y.) finished with 14 points, five rebounds, and three assists. Jonathan Garcia (Springfield, Mass) scored 10 points and added a team-high six assists, six rebounds, and three steals.
The Chargers controlled the game most of the opening half. DC extended to their largest lead of the half which was 13 points. The Golden Falcons cut the deficit to eight points before halftime.
Wilcox led the way for the Chargers in the opening half with 23 points. Copman recorded 12 of his rebounds in the first half.
Rachid Shimou scored seven points in the first half to lead Felician.
The Golden Falcons started the second half strong on a 9-0 run with two three-pointers from Rachid Shimou and one three-pointer from Jay'von Jackson.
Both teams played a close second half with both teams going back and forth. The second half saw twelve lead changes between both teams.
Down the stretch, the Chargers were able to use a 16-9 run to help secure the win. The Chargers finished the second half with a shooting percentage of 57.1% and finished the game shooting 53.3% as a team.
For Felician, Jay'von Jackson led the way with 16 points. Rachid Shimou scored 13 points and recorded five rebounds and three assists. Dee-End McRae scored 10 points and recorded a team-high seven rebounds.
Josiah Basket finished the game with 10 points while Nas Amos and Jaylen Colon each finished with eight points.
The Chargers will look to continue their winning streak when they return home to host Holy Family University at 3:00 PM.
