DC CRUISES TO SEVENTH STRAIGHT WIN
Wilmington, Del. (2/15/20) The Dominican College men's basketball team won their seventh straight game this afternoon after defeating host, Goldey-Beacom College, 92-79 this afternoon in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) game played in the Joseph West Jones College Center.

Dominican improves to 19-5 overall and 12-3 in conferenc play with the win.
Senior Jason Copman (Cumberland, Md.) had a monster game for the Chargers as he recorded the game's only double-double with a career high 32 points and 15 rebounds.
Tedrick Wilcox (Pawtucket, R.I.) delivered 28 points, while guard Tavon Ginyard (Brentwood, N.Y.) added 15 points.
Guard Daraja Rodwell (Baldwin, N.Y.) dished out a game best eight assists in the victory.
The Charger offense shot 37-56 (66.1%) from the floor, 8-17 (47.1%) from the three-point arc and 101-6 (62.5%) from the charity stripe.
In the first half, the score was tied at 7-all with 17:36 left in the first half when Dominican used a 16-6 run to propel them to a 23-13 advantage. A Wilcox dunk with 8:22 left in the half gave the Chargers their biggest lead of the period, 34-20, but the Lightning would rally to cut the lead to 47-43 at the break.
Wilcox tallied 20 first half points, while Copman had the hot hand in the second with 24 points and nine caroms.
Dominican would lead by as many as 18 points (83-65) following a free throw from Rodwell with 5:25 remaining en route to the 92-79 win.
Marcellus Livingston and Kyle Elliot each score 18 points for the Lightning.
DC returns home on Tuesday evening when they host Bloomfield College in the season series finale game to be played on Coach Baxter Court.
