CHARGERS SHUTOUT TIGERS FOR SECOND STRAIGHT WIN
Newtown, Pa. (9/29/18) The Dominican College men’s soccer team earned back to back wins over the Tigers of Holy Family University with a 2-0 shutout.

Newtown, Pa. (9/29/18) The Dominican College men's soccer team earned back to back wins over the Tigers of Holy Family University with a 2-0 shutout. The Chargers improved their season record to 4-6 (3-3 CACC) with the win. The Tigers fall o 4-7 (4-2 CACC) on the season.
Tyler Doll (St. Louis, Mo.) started in goal for the Chargers and made four saves to help keep the Tigers off the board in the shutout win.
The first half was a scoreless tie between both teams. The Chargers broke the scoreless tie at the 47:38 mark of the game when Jose Mendez (Jesup, Georgia) took a pass from teammate Tajae Swaby (Teaneck, N.J.) for the 1-0 lead.
At the 52:47 mark, Tajae Swaby extended the DC lead to 2-0 when he scored off of a rebound shot by Ewan Gray (Middlesbrough, England). The Chargers finished the game with seven total shots in the game and the Tigers recorded twelve shots in the game.
Gray took three shots in the game and Swaby took two shots for the Chargers in the win.
The Chargers will look to continue their winning streak when they return home on Wednesday, October 3rd when they host Felician University at 3:30 PM.
