Newtown, Pa. (9/29/18) The Dominican College women's soccer team lost to the Tigers of Holy Family University by a score of 3-0. The Tigers improved their record to 6-2-1 (4-2-1 CACC) with the 3-0 win. The Chargers fall to 1-8-1 (1-4-1 CACC) with the loss.
Tigers got on the board at the 20:24 mark when Alyssa Christiansen scored for the 1-0 lead over the Chargers. At 32:42, Stefanie Ulmer extended the Tiger's lead to 2-0. The Tigers took the 2-0 lead into halftime.
In the second half, at the 56:37 mark, Kaitlyn Findlay extended the lead to 3-0 and the Tigers secured the win.
Angelica Contreras (Baytown, Texas) recorded 6 saves in the game and Autumn Rogers-Vazquez (New Milford, N.J.) entered the game and recorded 4 saves.
