WOMEN'S TRACK AND FIELD HEAD TO PRINCETON INVITATIONAL

Junior Djazmina Jean-Pierre (Spring Valley, N.Y.) competed in the 60m dash where she finished in 16th place in her heat with a time of 8.54. Jada Hammond (Nyack, N.Y.) ran a time of 9.12 in the same heat to finish in 26th place.
In the 200m dash sophomore Cheneda Jemedy (Brockton, Mass.) took 18th place with a time of 28.09 and Jean-Pierre finished in 22nd place with a time of 28.86.
Jemedy also competed in the 400m dash where she ran a time of 1:06.34 to finish in 15th place.
The high jump event saw Desiree Joseph-Jarvis (Livingston, N.J.) finished in 11th place with a jump of 1.43m (4 feet, 8.25 inches).
Zaria Hankins (Ossining, N.Y.) competed in the shot put event where she took 11th place with a throw of 10.16m (33 feet, 4 inches).
Dominican will travel to the Armory Last Chance Meet this coming Friday.
