LADY CHARGERS COMPETE AT MONMOUTH WINTER INVITATIONAL

Monmouth, N.J. (2/16/20) Members of the Dominican College women's track and field team traveled to the Monmouth Winter Invitational held this past weekend at OceanFirst Bank Center.
The 60m dash saw senior Djazmina Jean-Pierre (Spring Valley, N.Y.) take 16th place overall with a time of 8.67. Jada Hammond (Nyack, N.Y.) finished in 19th place with a time of 9.08, while Judy Auguste (Westbury, N.Y.) finished in 27th place with a time of 9.78.
Cheneda Jemedy (Brockton, Mass.) ran in the 200m dash where she finished in 13th place with a time of 28.28. Jean-Pierre took 17th place with a time of 29.31 and Desiree Joseph-Jarvis (Livingston, N.J.) ran a time of 30.10 to finish in 21st place. Hammond finished in 29th place with a time of 31.55.
In the 400m dash Chemedy finished in 10th place with a time of 1:04.58, while Joseph-Jarvis took 16th place with a time of 1:09.34.
Sophomore Ann McCormack (Pearl River, N.Y.) competed in the 800m run and finished in a time of 2:51.56 to take 18th place.
August took 25th place in the shot put with a throw of 9.12m (29 feet, 11 inches).
The Lady Chargrs will compete at the Armory Last Chance meet this coming Friday.
