Orangeburg, N.Y. (10/17/17) The Dominican College women's volleyball team suffered a 3-0 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) loss to the visiting Tigers of Holy Family University in a match played this evening on Coach Baxter Court in the Hennessy Center.
Orangeburg, N.Y. (10/17/17) The Dominican College women's volleyball team suffered a 3-0 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) loss to the visiting Tigers of Holy Family University in a match played this evening on Coach Baxter Court in the Hennessy Center.
Holy Family won the match in three sets by scores of 25-7, 25-11, 25-12 to maintain their position of second place in the CACC South Division.
Sophomore Gabrielle Napoleon (Springfield, Pa.) led the Lady Chargers with five kills, a .118 attack percentage and added two assists.
Deanna Knopf (Hauppauge, N.Y.) tallied four kills and four digs, while Essence Boyd (Peekskill, N.Y.) had a team high eight assists and two service aces.
Junior Natalia Perez (Prosper, Texas) recorded a night best 18 digs to increase her season total to 225, which leads the team and ranks 20th in the CACC.
Dominican (0-21, 0-12 CACC) will take on non-conference opponent, Mercy College, this coming Thursday night at Nyack College.
