Following the set one win, The Golden Falcons won the next three by scores of 25-15, 25-22, 25-23 to earn the 3-1 match victory.
The set was tied at 20-all when a service error and consecutive kills from Emmalyn LaPier (Endicott, N.Y.) and Mykalee Chambers (Bronx, N.Y.) put DC ahead 23-20. Back-to-back errors allowed the Chargers to take the 25-20 win.
After two Felician set victories, the fourth set saw Felician pull ahead 7-2. Dominican would fight back and use a kill from Chambers to tie the set at 23-all. Two straight Felician points lifted them to the 25-23 set win and 3-1 match victory.
