GOMEZ CERVANTES NAMED HONORABLE MENTION FOR DIVISION II PING ALL-AMERICAN TEAM

Orangeburg, N.Y. (6/21/23) Alejandro Gomez Cervantes (Torreon, Mexico) of the Dominican University New York men's golf team has received Honorable Mention honors for the 2023 Division II PING All-America Team.

Orangeburg, N.Y. (6/21/23) Alejandro Gomez Cervantes (Torreon, Mexico) of the Dominican University New York men's golf team has received Honorable Mention honors for the 2023 Division II PING All-America Team.

This season Gomez Cervantes won the FPU Fall Invitational, finished second at the Spartan Shootout and Hawks Invitational, third at the Vulcan Invitational and fifth at the Eagles Invitational. He led the Chargers with a 73.04 scoring average over 23 rounds in 10 tournaments played.

He was named to the All-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Golf Team for the third consecutive year and received his second consecutive PING East All-Region accolades.
