CHARGERS CLAIM TOP SPOT IN 2022-23 CACC MEN'S BASKETBALL PRESEASON POLL

(11/3/22) Dominican University New York and Thomas Jefferson University were picked first in their respective divisions on Wednesday in the 2022-23 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Men's Basketball Preseason Coaches Poll, as announced by Commissioner Dan Mara. Voting for the poll was conducted by the league's 13 head coaches in the sport.

Voting for the poll was conducted by the league's 13 head coaches in the sport.
Dominican, which reached the CACC Championship Final last season and earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Division II East Region Tournament, earned 74 points in the voting -- including 4 first-place nods -- to rank first in the North Division. Post University, which advanced to the league semis last season, was second with 73 points and five first-place votes.
Jefferson topped the South side with 72 points and 12 first-place votes, while Chestnut Hill College was second with 56 points and the other top vote. Jefferson claimed the CACC South Division Regular Season Championship in 2022.
The 2022-23 CACC Men's Basketball season gets underway on Friday, Nov. 11, as the regular season slate will be a buildup to the CACC Men's Basketball Championship Tournament from Feb. 28 through March 5. Jefferson will serve as the host institution for CACC semis and finals this season.
