JOHNSON AND COPMAN SELECTED TO ALL-CACC MEN'S BASKETBALL TEAMS

Orangeburg, N.Y. (3/1/23) Dominican University New York men's basketball players, Wahaad Johnson (Brooklyn, N.Y.) and Justin Copman (Cumberland Md.), have been named to the 2023 All-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Teams as was announced by Commissioner Dan Mara.

Orangeburg, N.Y. (3/1/23) Dominican University New York men's basketball players, Wahaad Johnson (Brooklyn, N.Y.) and Justin Copman (Cumberland, Md.), have been named to the 2023 All-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Teams as was announced by Commissioner Dan Mara.

Johnson was named to the All-CACC First Team, while Copman earned All-CACC Second Team honors. For both players, this is their first All-Conference accolades.

Johnson ranks sixth in the CACC in free throws, 11th in free throw percentage and 13th in scoring. He leads the team in scoring and made free throws, while sitting second in free throw percentage.

Copman is sixth in the conference in three point field goal percentage, eighth in free throws and total rebounds (17th in offensive rebounds and 10th in defensive rebounds) and 10th in free throw percentage. He leads the Chargers in total rebounds and defensive rebounds and is second in points and points per game.
