MEN'S LACROSSE ENDS REGULAR SEASON WITH LOSS TO LIONS
Lakewood, N.J. (4/23/22) The Dominican College men's lacrosse team concluded the regular season with a 22-5 loss to host Georgian Court University in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) game played on the campus of Georgian Court University.

Lakewood, N.J. (4/23/22) The Dominican College men's lacrosse team concluded the regular season with a 22-5 loss to host Georgian Court University in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) game played on the campus of Georgian Court University.
Following the loss, the Chargers end the regular season with an overall record of 6-6 and a 3-3 CACC mark.
Daniel Carson (Lindenhurst, N.Y.) got Dominican on the scoreboard in the second quarter with the unassisted goal and with 5:14 left in the quarter Kyle Benedetto (Wantagh, N.Y.) made the score 11-2 with a score off the pass from Terence O'Loughlin (Nanuet, N.Y.). GCU went into the intermission with a 13-2 advantage.
Attacker Cole Vencak (Smithtown, N.Y.) recorded his first game goal off the dish from Eric Greenwood (Edmonton, Alberta, Canada) to cut Lion lead to 14-3.
Carson scored his second game goal to start off the fourth quarter and with 8:30 to play Vencak netted his second goal of the game to conclude the scoring for DC en route to the loss.
Goalkeeper Steffen Peabody (Brookhaven, N.Y.) made 14 saves in 32:46.
Dominican has qualified for the 2022 CACC Men's Lacrosse Championships which is slated to begin this Thursday, April 28th and hosted by Georgian Court University.
