(9/3/22) Red-shirt junior Jacob Owen (Middlesbrough, England) netted the game-winning goal at the 26:54 mark on a shot to the high right part of the goal to lift the Dominican University New York Men's Soccer team to a 2-1 victory this evening over host, the University of New Haven in non-conference action.

With the win, Dominican improves to 1-1-1 overall while New Haven drops to 0-3 on the season.
The game was scoreless until the the 21st minute when Ewan Gray (Middlesbrough, England) scored his second goal of the season on a shot to the lower left part of the net off the dish from Maximino Casares Martinez (Valladolid, Spain) for the early lead.
Owen followed five minutes later with his first goal of the season, which would prove to be the game-winning goal.
Keeper David Arteaga (Middlesex, N.J.) made two saves in the win.
Dominican will host Adelphi University on Tuesday, September 6th at 2pm.
