Orangeburg, N.Y. (10/7/22) The Dominican University New York men's soccer team lost a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) game to the visiting Tigers of Holy Family University, 2-0, this afternoon.
The game was scoreless until the 30th minute when HFU struck for their first score and followed at 76:35 with their second game goal. Both goals were scored by Sean Touey with an assist on the second goal going to Marcelo Ibarra.
Holy Family outshot Dominican 13-7 for the contest, while the Chargers held the 4-2 advantage in corner kicks.
Charger keeper David Arteaga (Middlesex, N.J.) made seven saves.
With the loss Dominican falls to 1-9-3 overall and 0-7-1 in conference play.
The Chargers return to action next Wednesday when they travel to Felician University.
