DOMINICAN'S RUBIN NAMED TO 2022 CACC MEN'S SOCCER ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM
Orangeburg, N.Y. (12/8/22) Dominican University New York men's soccer player, Jonathon Rubin, has been named to the 2022 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) All-Academic Team as was announced yesterday by by Commissioner Dan Mara. All 13 CACC schools that compete in the sport were represented on the All-Academic Team.

(12/8/22) Dominican University New York men's soccer player, Jonathon Rubin, has been named to the 2022 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) All-Academic Team as was announced yesterday by by Commissioner Dan Mara. All 13 CACC schools that compete in the sport were represented on the All-Academic Team.
Rubin, who hails from Palm City, Fla., makes his first apperance on the All-Academic Team.
Alliance University led the way with 11 honorees on the list, and comes on the heels of the squad qualifying for the CACC Championship Final this fall. Georgian Court University was next with nine honorees to make the team.
NOTES ON ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM
♦ Three student-athletes posted perfect 4.0 cumulative grade point averages (Alliance's Marco Roessle, University of Bridgeport's Clement Anet & Luis Trapp).
♦ Sixteen (16) student-athletes notched GPAs of 3.90 or higher.
♦ Thomas Jefferson University's Geoffrey Little was placed on the squad for the fourth time in his career (3.65, Architecture).
♦ Eleven (11) were named to the CACC Men's Soccer All-Academic Team for the third time in their respective careers.
♦ Eight were named to the unit for the second time in their respective careers.
♦ CACC Champion Post University had five players made the team, and was led by Soren Jensen's 3.97 GPA (Marketing).
♦ The eight teams to qualify for the CACC post-season tournament combined to have 49 honorees make the all-academic team.
To be eligible for CACC All-Academic status, a student-athlete must: a) Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 at the end of immediate preceding term (may include summer for fall sport participants); b) Minimum of two semesters enrolled as full-time student at member institution; c) Student-athlete must be second year student-athlete at member institution.
