LAUREDENT WINS TRIPLE JUMP AT OSCAR MOORE INVITATIONAL
Glassboro, N.J. (3/27/22) Sophomore Kenney Lauredent (Pomona, N.Y.) won the triple jump event at the 2022 Oscar Moore Invitational held yesterday and hosted by Rowan University.

Highlights
- Lauredent won the triple jump with a jump of 14.04m (46' 0.75') for both a new personal and school record in the event.
- Brandon Adams (Highland Mills, N.Y.) took fourth place in the high jump with a jump of 1.83m (6'0").
- Sprinter Dariel Suarez (North Bergen, N.J.) ran the 100m dash in a time of 11.83 to finish in sixth place.
- Lauredent took sixth place in the long jump with a jump of 6.35m (20'10").
- Freshman Adam Lenn (Thiells, N.Y.) recorded a throw of 43.80m (143'8") in the discus throw to take fifth place.
Other Performances
- Evans took 10th place in the long jump with a jump of 6.04m (19'9.75").
- The shot put event saw Lenn take 14th place with a throw of 11.60m (38'0.75"). Louis Rodriguez (Monsey, N.Y.) finished in 18th place with a throw of 10.80m (35'5.25"). Lawrence Ribiero (Cortlandt Manor, N.Y.) took 24th place with a throw of 8.39m (27'6.5"), while Vincent Faison (Chester, N.Y.) finished in 26th place with a throw of 7.22m (23'8.25").
- In the 100m dash preliminaries, Lowell Pierrette (Elmsford, N.Y.) took 16th place with a time of 11.61 and Ezra Evans (Greensboro, N.C.) finished in 19th place with a time of 11.68.
- The 200m dash saw Pierrette finish in 14th place with a time of 23.62, while Brian Thompson (North Bergen, N.J.) took 18th place with a time of 23.80. Evans finished in 23rd place with a time of 24.10 and Olatunji Adewole (North Plainfield, N.J.) took 28th place with a time of 24.29. Suarez finished in 30th place with a time of 24.48.
- Thompson took 16th place in the 400m dash with a time of 54.92. Adewole finished in 18th place with a time of 55.46, while Steven Smith (Yonkers, N.Y.) ran a time of 1:01.15 to finish in 33rd place. Matthew Macias (Emerson, N.J.) finished in 38th place with a time of 1:22.83.
- In the hammer throw, Ribiero finished in 17th place with a throw of 24.21m (79'5").
- Rodriguez placed 22nd in the discus with a throw of 33.10m (108'7"), while Ribiero took 30th place with a throw of 24.65m (80'10").
- In the 800m, Daniel Pinilla (Blauvelt, N.Y.) finished in 39th place with a time of 2:17.81. In the 1500m Pinilla took 47th place with a time of 4:51.36.
