MILLS AND SUAREZ EARN ALL-MET ACCOLADES
Orangeburg, N.Y. (4/20/23) Dominican University New York women's basketball players, Tanasha Mills and Alexis Suarez, have earned All-Met accolades as was announced yesterday by the by the Met Basketball Writers Association.
Orangeburg, N.Y. (4/20/23) Dominican University New York women's basketball players, Tanasha Mills and Alexis Suarez, have earned All-Met accolades as was announced yesterday by the by the Met Basketball Writers Association.
Mills was named to the All-Met First Team for the first time in her career, while Suarez earned Second Team honors for the first time.
A sophomore from New City, N.Y., Mills led the Lady Chargers in points, points per game, was second in assists and third in steals. She led the Cetnral Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) in made free throws, was third in total points and assists, fourth in points per game and free throw percentage and is tenth in made field goals.
Suarez, a junior from Poughquag, N.Y., led Dominican in assists and steals and was second in rebounds, points and points per game. She was fourth in the CACC in steals and assists, ninth in field goals and 13th in points.
Mills and Suarez join Briana Lee of Felician University and Casey O'Shaughnessy of Caldwell University in receiving All-Met honors from the CACC.
