WOMEN'S BOWLING OPENS SEASON AT GOLDEN BEAR INVITE
Sinking Springs, Pa. (10/22/23) The Dominican University New York women's bowling team opened their inaugural season at the Golden Bear Invite from Berks Lanes in Sinking Springs, Pa.
The Lady Chargers opened the event with the traditional play on Saturday. Dominican fell in all four traditional matches to open the event. Dominican finished day one placed 13th in the team results with a total pin fall of 2,957 and team average of 118.3.
Freshman Natalie Christopher (Oakland, N.J.) was the top finisher on day one for the Lady Chargers landing 36th out of 82 and finished with a 765 pin total. Christopher added a team-high 182 in game one.
Fellow Freshman Briana Sinnott (Upper Nyack, N.Y.) ended day one with a total pin fall of 737 including a high game of 175 in game five for a 38th place finish.
Dominican returned to action on day two for the Baker matches. The Lady Chargers went 0-4 on day two with team scores of 522-570-608-605.
The Lady Chargers return to action in November for CACC Eavent #1 on November 11th and November 12th.
