WOMEN'S BOWLING WRAPS UP AT THE CSU LADY EAGLE INVITE
Gwynn Oak, Md. (11/19/23) The Dominican University New York women's bowling team placed 12th overall in the team standings of the CSU Lady Eagle Invitational from AMF Woodlawn Lanes.
The Lady Chargers went 1-4 on day one of the traditional matches where they earned their first victory of the season over Virginia State University in their second traditional match by a score of 653-566.
Freshman Briana Sinnott (Upper Nyack, N.Y.) led the way for the Lady Chargers posting games of 187, 172, 152, 149, and 137. Sinnott finished with a total pinfall of 797 which included a team-high 187 score and finished 34th overall in the individual standings out of 79.
Freshman Natalie Christopher (Oakland, N.J.) finished 39th overall in the individual standings with a total pinfall of 748 and posted a 186 to lead the Lady Chargers to victory in game two against Virginia State University.
Sinnott finished day one with a 159 average while Christopher finished with an average of 149.
In the baker matches on day two, the Lady Chargers posted scores of 570, 607, and 666 in their three matches and fell to Howard University, Belmont Abbey College, and Molloy University. Dominican was matched up with Saint Anselm College for their final matchup on the day where they fell 4-0.
The Lady Chargers return to action on February 3rd and 4th for the Griffin Baker Classic hosted by Chestnut Hill College.
