The win even ups the Lady Chargers record as they improve to 2-2 on the season, while the Firebirds drop to 0-5 overall.
Eight different DC players scored goals in the contest. Dominican jumped out to an early 7-0 lead in the first quarter and they never looked bacn en route to the victory.
Sarah Smith (Slate Hill, N.Y.) Grace DeStasio (West Hempstead, N.Y.), Sydney Strohmayer (Rocky Point, N.Y.) and Jordana Tomasetti (Middletown, N.J.) scored four goals each in the victory, with Tomasetti adding an assist.
Attacker Ellie Brouwer (West Long Branch, N.J.) scored two goals and a career high four assists, while Caitlin Costello (Seaford, N.Y.) dished out three assists and one goal.
Erica Ortiz (Slate Hill, N.Y.) netted one goal and two assists with Anna Kaminskey (Mount Sinai, N.Y.) adding one goal and one assist in the win.
Goalie Kristinamarie Kaszovitz (Hicksville, N.Y.) made four saves in the win.
Dominican will have their home opener this coming Wednesday as they take on Southern Connecticut State University at the Torne Valley Sports Complex.
