LADY CHARGERS SHUT OUT FELICIAN UNIVERSITY
Hillburn, N.Y. (3/22/22) The Dominican College women's lacrosse team improved to 5-2 overall and 1-0 in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) play after downing the visiting Golden Falcons of Felician University, 19-0, this afternoon in a game played at the Torne Valley Sports Complex.

Six different Lady Chargers scored goals in the contest, while goalie Kristinamarie Kaszovitz (Hicksville, N.Y.) made one save.
CACC Rookie of the Week, Grace DeStasio (West Hempstead, N.Y.) led the team with five goals and one assist for six game points.
Attacker Caitlin Costello (Seaford, N.Y.) dished out a career high eight assists to go along with one goal.
Sydney Strohmayer (Rocky Point, N.Y.), Ellie Brouwer (West Long Branch, N.J.) and Jordana Tomasetti (Middletown, N.J.) scored four goals each, while Brouwer recorded a new career high and Strohmayer added two assists.
Attacker Sarah Smith (Slate Hill, N.Y.) netted the other Lady Charger goal.
For the Golden Falcons, goalkeeper Lauren Bain made 12 saves in the loss.
Dominican returns to action on Saturday afternoon when they travel to Holy Family University.
