Philadelphia, Pa. (3/26/22) The Dominican College women’s lacrosse team downed the Tigers of Holy Family University by a score of 18-7 to improve to 6-2 (2-0 CACC).

With the win, the Lady Chargers extended their winning streak to five games.
Kristinamarie Kaszovitz (Hicksville, N.Y.) earned her sixth win of the season and made six saves.
Jordana Tomasetti (Middletown, N.J.) scored a team-high five goals and took seven shots. Grace DeStasio (West Hempstead, N.Y.) and Erica Ortiz (Slate Hill, N.Y.) each scored three goals. DeStasio also recorded one assist.
Sydney Strohmayer (Rocky Point, N.Y.) scored two goals and added one assist while Ellie Brouwer (West Long Branch, N.J.) scored one goal and recorded two assists.
Caitlin Costello (Seaford, N.Y.), Sarah Smith (Slate Hill, N.Y.), Anna Kaminsky (Mount Sinai, N.Y.), and Josie Lettieri (Deer Park, N.Y.) each added one goal in the win.
Both teams traded goals to start the game and then DC scored six unanswered goals to extend to a 7-2 lead. DC outscored the Tigers 8-1 in the second quarter and held a 13-3 lead by halftime.
The Lady Chargers added two goals in the third quarter and three goals in the fourth quarter. DC held Holy Family to four total goals in the second half on their way to the 18-7 victory.
The Lady Chargers will be back in action on Wednesday, March 30th when they travel to Wilmington University for a CACC contest with the Wildcats. The game is scheduled to begin at 4:00 PM.
