LADY CHARGERS WIN EIGHTH STRAIGHT CONTEST AGAINST NYACK COLLEGE
Jersey City, N.J. (4/5/22) The Dominican College women's lacrosse team won their eighth straight game tonight as they defeated Nyack College, 20-1, in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) action played at Berry Lane Park.

The win improves the Lady Chargers overall record to 9-2 and 5-0 in the CACC.
Freshman attacker Ellie Brouwer (West Long Branch, N.J.) scored a career high five goals, three assists and eight points in the win.
Midfielder Jordana Tomasetti (Middletown, N.J.) tallied four goals and one assist, while Sydney Strohmayer (Rocky Point, N.Y.) added three goals.
Grace DeStasio (West Hempstead, N.Y.), Sarah Smith (Slate Hill, N.Y.) and Josie Lettieri (Deer Park, N.Y.) finished with two goals a-piece.
CACC Rookie of the Week Caitlin Costello (Seaford, N.Y.) recorded new career highs with nine assists and 10 game points to go along with one goal. CACC Defensive Player of the Week, Erica Ortiz (Slate Hill, N.Y.) scored one goal.
Starting goalkeeper Kristinamarie Kaszovitz (Hicksville, N.Y.) made one save int he first 30 minutes. Rebecca Nutting (Marcellus, N.Y.) came in for the third quarter and Kathryn Ehrlinger (Levittown, N.Y.) played the fourth quarter.
Up next for Dominican is a road game tomorrow afternoon at St. Thomas Aquinas College.
