VOLLEYBALL DOWNS GOLDEN FALCONS
Orangeburg, N.Y. (9/27/22) The Dominican University New York women's volleyball team defeated the visiting Golden Falcons of Felician University, 3-0 (25-12, 25-16, 25-14), this evening in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) action played on Coach Baxter Court in the Hennessy Center.

With the win, Dominican improves to 7-7 overall and 5-2 in conference play.
Freshman outside hitter Elizabeth Perez (Miami, Fla.) tied her career high with a match leading 13 kills and a .444 attack percentage on the night.
Aailyah Ellis (League City, Texas) added 12 kills in 15 attempts for a .800 attack percentage, while Emmalyn LaPier (Endicott, N.Y.) and Andreya Davis (Peekskill, N.Y.) both had seven kills in the win.
Libero Linda Armao Peng (Houston, Texas) led four Chargers in double figures with 17 digs. LaPier finished with 12 digs, while Alessandra Pantoja (Lewisville, Texas) contributed 11 digs and a match leading 34 assists. Perez recorded 10 digs.
The Golden Falcons (1-15, 1-5 CACC) were led by Hannah Chiswick with 10 kills and Miquela Martinez had 18 assists and Natalie Kashian tallied 17 digs.
Dominican returns to action on Saturday afternoon when they host Chestnut Hill College. Match time is set for 12pm on Coach Baxter Court in the Hennessy Center.
