Waterbury, Conn. (10/11/22) The Dominican University New York women's volleyball team fell in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) tonight to host, Post University, 3-1 (25-22, 23-25, 20-25, 22-25) in a match played in the Drubner Center.

Following the loss, Dominican now stands at 9-10 overall and 7-4 in conference play.
Freshman Elizabeth Perez (Miami, Fla.) had a team leading 12 kills and eight digs in the loss.
Andreya Ellis (Peekskill, N.Y.) added eight kills, while Aaliyah Ellis (League City, Texas) contributed seven kills.
CACC Setter of the Week, Alessandra Pantoja (Lewisville, Texas) posted a team leading 28 assists and 12 digs.
Linda Armao Peng (Houston, Texas)had a team best 20 digs in the loss.
In the first set, Dominican led 22-20 when kills from Savannah Tody (Minneapolis, Minn.) and Perez put them at set point, 24-21. A point from Post made the score 24-22, but Ellis recorded the set ending kill for the 25-22 win.
From there, the match belonged to Post as they won the next three sets 25-23, 25-20, 25-22.
The Chargers return to action on Thursday night when they host the University of Bridgeport in CACC action on Coach Baxter Court. Match time is slated for 7pm.
