After the loss, Dominican now stands at 9-12 overall on the season.
The Chargers won the first and third sets by the identical scores of 27-25. In those sets, the team posted attacking percentages of .300 and 308.
Freshman outside hitter Elizabeth Perez (Miami, Fla.) recorded a career high 21 kills , a .318 attack percentage and 12 digs in the loss.
Emmalyn LaPier (Endicott, N.Y.) contributed 17 kills and 15 digs, while Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Setter of the Week, Alessandra Pantoja (Lewsville, Texas) tallied a career high 53 assists and 11 digs in the loss.
Libero Linda Armao Peng (Houston, Texas) added 13 digs.
Dominican returns to action on Wednesday evening when they host Caldwell University in a CACC North Division battle to be played on Coach Baxter Court in the Hennessy Center.
