With the loss Dominican falls to 3-4 overall while the Greyhounds improve to 4-0 on the season.
Freshman Cayla Howard (Naugatuck, Conn.) scored a new career high of 19 points, three rebounds and two steals. Howard shot 7-11 from the floor and 3-6 from the three-point arc.
Tanasha Mills (New City, N.Y.) delivered 13 points, four rebounds and four assists, while Kristen Teklits (New Fairfield, Conn.) pulled down a team best six rebounds.
Junior Chidinma Ndukauba (Brooklyn, N.Y.) netted eight points, five boards, two assists and two steals, while Alexis Suarez (Poughquag, N.Y.) scored eight points.
Molloy Stokes led the Greyhounds with 24 points.
Dominican will open up Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) play on Wednesday evening when they travel to Felician University. Game time is set for 5:30 pm.
