Goalkeeper Coach - Men's Soccer

Dominican University New York, located in Orangeburg, NY and a member of Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference, is seeking applicants for the part-time position of Goalkeeper Coach for the men's soccer program. The position will report to the head coach of men’s soccer.

Responsibilities:

Practice design of Goalkeeper training sessions, assessment, and individual growth plans for each.

Assist the Head Coach with defensive principles and defensive unit play.

Daily coding and video being sent to GK’s and team members.

Game Day coding/filming.

Help plan and organize team training and practice sessions, and use video analysis to provide feedback to players, within NCAA regulations and with respect for the academic demands of Dominican University student-athletes.

Assist with identifying, assessing, and recruiting top student-athletes to compete at Dominican, within the context of applicable NCAA regulations and University admission expectations.

Assist with the organization required with visiting teams, recruits, and other parties.

Ability to understand and comply with all rules and regulations of Dominican University, CACC and NCAA

Ability to work cooperatively with a variety of staff and personnel in the Department of Athletics, the University and the Community.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Coach or her designee.

Ideal applicant will be 25+ with a valid driver's license and clean driving record. This position requires a flexible working schedule as there will be afternoon, evening, and weekend commitments. Collegiate or professional coaching experience is preferred. Strong interpersonal skills in working with student-athletes, peers, and the general public. This is a part-time position. Bachelor's Degree is required.

Head Coach - Field Hockey

Dominican University New York, a Division II member, invites applications for the part-time position of head field hockey coach. The applicant will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of a field hockey program, including coaching, recruiting, promoting and administering an NCAA Division II field hockey program.

The head coach must demonstrate exemplary ethical conduct and is required to abide by rules and regulations established by Dominican University New York, the East Coast Conference (ECC), and NCAA.

Bachelor’s degree required; college playing and coaching experience preferred. Ideal candidate would be 25+ with a clean driving record.
