Alpha Chi
Alpha Chi is a coeducational academic honor society. Since 1922 its purpose has been to promote academic excellence and exemplary character among college and university students and to honor those who achieve such distinction.
Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) All-Academic Team
The CACC released its inaugural All-Academic team in the fall of 2004 and a new group of student-athletes is honored each fall, winter and spring. To be eligible for the CACC All-Academic team, each student-athlete must meet the following criteria:
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 at the end of immediate preceding term (may include summer for fall sport participants)
- Minimum of two semesters enrolled as full-time student at member institution
- Student-athlete must be second year student-athlete at member institution
- Student-athlete must have been athletically eligible the season preceding the award and used a season of eligibility.

Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference CACC) Top XVI Award
The CACC Top XIV Award is modeled after the NCAA Elite 90 Award and is a direct product of the CACC Strategic Plan. The Top XVI Award is presented to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative grade-point average participating at the finals site for each of the CACC championships. In order to be considered, the student-athlete must be at least a sophomore in academic and athletics standing as well as a member of the active roster. In the event of a tie, it is broken by the total number of credit hours earned.

Chi Alpha Sigma
The National College Athlete Honor Society, Chi Alpha Sigma, was founded at DePauw University, Greencastle, Indiana, on May 17, 1996. It was formed as a student-athlete honor society for the recognition of high academic achievers and sport letter winners at the collegiate level. This honor society recognizes college students who receive a varsity letter in their sport while maintaining a 3.4 or higher cumulative GPA throughout their junior and senior years.

Dean's List
Offered by Dominican University New York and is given to any student that receives a 3.5 semester GPA.
Dominican University New York Athletics Scholar-Athlete Award
This awarded is presented to the male and female student-athlete with the highest individual overall GPA in their respective class level.
Dominican University New York Honors Convocation
Each fall, the President publicly recognizes students who have attained the Dean's List for one or more academic years.
Individual Academic All-American Honors
Each coaching association offers student-athletes the opportunity to receive Academic All-American recognition.
Sports Information All-District and All-American Honors
The College Sports Information Directors of America (Co-Sida) offers student-athletes the opportunity to receive Academic All-District and All-American recognition.
Team Scholar Athlete Honors
Each coaching association also offers athletic teams the opportunity to receive Team Academic All-American recognition.
