CHARGERS FALL TO UMASS-LOWELL
Pomona, N.Y. (4/11/13) The Dominican College baseball team fell in non-conference action, 4-2, to the Riverhawks from the University of Massachusetts-Lowell in a game played this afternoon at Provident Bank Park. With the loss, Dominican falls to 15-12 on the season.

Pomona, N.Y. (4/11/13) The Dominican College baseball team fell in non-conference action, 4-2, to the Riverhawks from the University of Massachusetts-Lowell in a game played this afternoon at Provident Bank Park. With the loss, Dominican falls to 15-12 on the season.
The Chargers took a 2-0 lead in the fifth inning as Oliver Christensen (Coral Springs, Fla.) reached on a bases loaded fielder's choice which brought home a run and later Nick Delgado (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) later score on a wild pitch.
UMASS-Lowell came back with a three run eighth inning and added a run in the ninth for the 4-2 victory.
Reliver Carlos Lopez (Miami, Fla.) suffered the loss (1-1) in two innings of work, allowing three runs on five hits.
Starter Jordan Paszek (Sussex, Wis.) went seven innings in the no decision, allowing one run on no hits and two strikeouts.
Dominican is scheduled to be in action tomorrow in a non-conference game at Caldwell College.
