CHARGERS TIE FOR SEVENTH PLACE AT BENTLEY SPRING CLASSIC
Middletown, R.I. (4/8/15) The Dominican College golf team finished in a two-way tie for seventh place at the Bentley Spring Classic held today at the Newport National Golf Course. The team shot a combined score of 352 to tie with Saint Anselm College.

American International College took first place with a team score of 304, followed by Bentley University (310), Assumption College (321), Endicott College (335), MA-Dartmouth (338) and Providence College (351).
Freshman Kenneth Platt (Chestnut Ridge, N.Y.) was the top finisher for the Chargers as he tied for 25th place with a score of 85 (+13).
Colin Costigan (Point Pleasant, N.J.) had a round of 87 (+15) to tie for 30th place, while Brian McGuigan (Hawthorne, N.J.) tied for 34th place with a score of 88 (+16).
Freshman Matthew Golabek (Maywood, N.J.) took 40th place with a 92 score (+20), while Jacob DeMoura (Westerly, R.I.) rounded out the Charger scoring with a score of 93 (+21).
